How to Breathe

Warning: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BREATHE IN A MANNER THAT YOU ARE UNACCUSTOMED TO WHILE OPERATING HEAVY MACHINERY OR DOING ANYTHING POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!
You may get dizzy or even black out momentarily!
I recommend paying close attention to what is beneath you as well, and not walking down the sidewalk the first few times, you will probably get light headed if you’re doing it right. Sitting upright in a soft chair is probably a good idea.

Yes, we all breathe already, and all assume we are doing a fine job of it. However, I went over 30 years before I learned how to do it correctly. I had heard the insult "mouth breather" before, but didn’t understand... I have always been (honestly) among the smartest people I’ve known, and I used my mouth, you have to in order to speak, and martial arts teach to breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth.

WRONG!!! Bad mouth-breathing tailless monkey!

Is it such a stretch to see
Or is it false reality?
A whisper lost within a sigh
And the truth eludes the eye
Is it not so bad to be
Locked within one self, but free?
We trudge on in time to die
For the promise that our souls will fly

Freedom from this incarnation
Freed from flesh’s incarceration
And does belief create a Heaven?
Does disbelief create oblivion?
Is there true spitituality
Or do we simply cease to be?
Are there powers of our creation
Or is religion just desperation?

Psycho Psychology

Some years ago, I had to call off my daughter's birthday party due to her behavior. I had been feeling particularly anti-social anyways, and perhaps I came across as more so... a well-meaning relative asked if I've considered seeing a psychologist. I appreciate the concern, honestly, but this is an ongoing conflict between the status quo and reality. Every day more people, including kids, are diagnosed with psychological problems for their human flaws and quirks, adding them to the swelling ranks of millions of drug adjusted Americans.

A Rant on Language, Language Most Foul

A New Wrinkle in Micro/Macroversals

First, a definition of sorts, what do we mean by “micro/macroversals”? The concept itself is, as yet, neither provable nor disprovable with our current technology, and is merely a hypothesis in itself. So really, this is a “what if” on another “what if”, and I do so like stacking the “what-ifs”.
